Powerboost Alternative!
Re: Powerboost Alternative!
Maybe with this piece and a step-up 5v 1A to boost the output current of the battery you can do something but verify to be sure ^^
I think the out+ /out- is to recover the output current of the battery when the power in is not connected or maybe you can recover it when it's connected too.

Re: Powerboost Alternative!
Those are charge and protect boards. you have a battery +/- and an out +/- on one end and then a usb/5v +/- at the other end
it will allow the battery to be charged via the usb, and will let it fully charge without damage. it will also disconnect the battery from the circuit when it is discharged, so it doesnt let the battery get too low
There is NO boost function in any way, you will only get the 4.2~3.2v raw voltage from the battery

Re: Powerboost Alternative!
in theory it can charge and power at the same time. It will all depend on how much power the GBZ will be using. according to the specifications of the device, it can provide 1A@5v, and charge 1A.
now if the GBZ is using 500ma (0.5A) then there will only be 500ma going into the battery. therefore it will charge slower, but will eventually charge
