so i had a gearbest screen a while back and a mix of being new to soldering and heavy handed i "very" destroyed the chip for the 5v mod
it was left in a draw up to now and now i am attempting to get it running.
below is a pic, the blue line is the 5v mod which i can no longer do so i decided to wire up a wire from the 5v pin and prod around, whats the worst that could happen...
anyway i found if i connect the red line to the other chip it comes on but flickers on/off. i am assuming this is due to trying to run it off 5v?
does anyone have any ideas if there is something else i could hook it up to to give it a bit more juice so not to flicker?
