Re: One more new GBZ
No the basic model does not charge. So you'll need to swap batteries. Or maybe you can wire another charger?

Re: One more new GBZ
For the diagram, could someone explain what the black box labeled ground is? I'm kind of a noob, but I know its not the Kitsch-Bent filter, the amp, or anything else.

@PitchForkNinja
Sorry I didn't make that clear. It is just meant as a ground spot. In my case it is my power strip. Which ha 5v on 1 side ground on the other.
Also, I edited the diagram too.

Re: One more new GBZ
ok I ordered everything! just waiting the pieces now (it's like christmas !! )
I was thinking about put led as battery level indicator. There some led on the powwerboost 1000c but not on the right place.... I ask myself if is not possible to put "extra-led" or maybe optic cable from the powerboost led... if someone got idee let me know!

Re: One more new GBZ
You can extend the powerboost leds, require some soldering skills because the leds are very small. You can also use glass fiber strings, which pass on the light of the led.

Re: One more new GBZ
I think I will wire my PCB with a Teensy, because I don't understand how to program the GPIO. Do you think this one is oK for all the botton (l and r includ) ? https://www.adafruit.com/product/2419
Maybe if someone can explain me the prog, I can try to wire on the GPIO.
And if I use teensy, do I need to wire the sound on the teensy or directly on the GPIO ?

Re: One more new GBZ
The teensy Lc is perfect for the controls.
For the gpio control read this guide:
http://www.sudomod.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=22&t=57
When you use the teensy fot controls you can wire the audio to gpio 13 or 18 (or both for stereo)
Read this thread for mor info about pwm audio:
http://www.sudomod.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=22&t=480
You can also use a usb audio card so you don't have to make a pwm filter.

Re: One more new GBZ
Hello, I've got almost all the part for start the build!! wait for the teensy, USB hub, cartridge reader and 3.5jack.
I got a question: with the mod I made in my DMG, I can put 2 battery of 3.7V and 2500mah. Is it possible to plug them in parallele like this and connect them to the powerboost 1000c? The powerboost 1000C will charge them? What do you think?
