Mounting Volume wheel

Hi all, could anyone recommend the best way to mount the volume wheel so i dont make a mess of it? Thanks

I usually glue in a bit of perf board onto the screen casing as a base then once dry, a drop on top to test place the pot, close the case to test alignment then reseat if necessary. Once happy glue it down securely.

Wermy printed a block for it when he did the custom parts version, but in the vids he didn't specify what the dimensions were

Thanks guys, i dont have any perf board but i will cut up a small piece of plastic and use @Lphillimore example.

I used a gameboy button which I found perfectly height to that task
