I'm still waiting on some parts, but I modded the case to make it ready for the new VGA screen I ordered off eBay.

I used the buttons of my old SNES controller and added a 4 button board I got from eBay.

Update 1

I got most of the parts in (still waiting on the USB hub and the Mini USB for charging). I'm going to solder the Powerboost, Battery, screen and audio tonight.

The 640x480 VGA screen is glued in place. Last night I ordered the screenprotector from http://www.retrofresh.uk/ (Thanks [mention=@dominator]Dominator[/mention]) because you can see a little part of the screen and the gray border will finish the build.

I used the Start & Select buttons from the SNES controller to use as the L & R Buttons. I glued two tacticle buttons on the inside. The holes aren't the cleanest

I will post some photos when I have a working screen

Looks very nice - good clean lines on the screen, and those SNES buttons really brighten it all up

I almost finished my build until I cut through the ribbon of the VGA screen After a lot of screaming and breaking the screen, I ordered a new (480x320) screen. Now I have to wait until I can continue
