Re: jellybelly first GBZ project
so more work over the festive period
got things running without the cart sd card
i found the issue with the cart sd card was the wiring
it needs to be around 3 inch mark, all of equal length, and seperated and after this it now works
so the whole thing was closed up
its now a functioning thing which ive been play but it still need things to be finished off
*i'm still waiting on the switches from china to be able to connect the battery
*i need a safe shutdown of some description
*screen protector
im sure theres more to add to the list but thatll do for now

Re: jellybelly first GBZ project
got round the sorting my screen protector out
i went to a local sign printers with my file and got them to reverse print on some clear vinyl
i also bought from aliexpress some glass screens an uses acetone and a scraper to remove the silk screen from them
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/5pcs-Fo ... 0.0.a93ff5
you could always have bought the plain finish glass from kitsch bent but postage for the uk is pricey
very please and i have a glass screen which will last alot longer than any acrylic

Re: jellybelly first GBZ project
I love the logo/design you put on the glass screen!
For those who are looking for a cheap alternative glass lens that are ready to go with black, grey or white borders, I have bought these and they have adhesive around the edge for GBZ use: http://store.kitsch-bent.com/product/gl ... nt-screens

Re: jellybelly first GBZ project
I need a slightly different design made since I'm using a 2.8" screen. Do you think you could have your print shop make some up for me If I send you the design? (or if I modified yours)
I want a few doing so having more than one made isn't a problem...

Re: jellybelly first GBZ project
So after using this for a week slot it's made me realise the temp the screen gets to do need to look at some form of cooling for inside the case
I've also installed the switch so the battrry is not fully working so am pleased with that
Part of me wants to pull it all apart and improve things tho so we'll see about that

Re: jellybelly first GBZ project
really annoying that your pictures does not show anymore. I found your profile on photobucket but i only get thumbnails, if i click one picture to get it bigger, it always says update account for 3rd party hosting... I think you've used all the bandwidth for free accounts.
I was interested in the necessary cutting of the shell to fit veco speakers without other modification.
