Have a look in my signature for a link to the two I have built. I did not take a lot of pictures during the process, but you can see what photos I have in the thread.jpm304 wrote:Thank you. That would be awesome if you could post a few photos of the ones that you have built. I would definitely like to see what you have done. Possibly get some ideas for mine from them.rodocop wrote:Nice videos so far. I've already built two GBZ's but I still like to see what other people have done.

Very nice builds there. I noticed on your first one that your X and Y button holes have a slight chamfer to them. How did you accomplish that?rodocop wrote:Have a look in my signature for a link to the two I have built. @jpm304
I actually did that on both, it's just harder to see on the black one. To do it I just used a countersink drill bit after I drilled the holes. It seemed to work good. Most drill sets seem to have them.

Out of curiosity, what screen did you use and will you be showing how it got wired up?jpm304 wrote:Part 3 of my Game Boy Zero Build is now posted. In this part I will be showing how to set up the Teensy as well as modifying an old Game Boy cartridge to fit the SD cartridge board.

I didn't notice one in your part 1 and in part 3 you just had it hooked up without any note of how it was done.
Re: Full GBZ Build Videos
Thank you for the information. I'm definitely going to give that a shot on my GBZ build.rodocop wrote:@jpm304

It is the BW 3.5 Inch TFT LCD Backup Monitor. I will be going over everything about that screen in Part 4. What kind it is, where I got it, and what needs too be done to it to get it to work in the Game Boy Zero.jonathan_g wrote:Out of curiosity, what screen did you use and will you be showing how it got wired up?jpm304 wrote:Part 3 of my Game Boy Zero Build is now posted. In Part 1 I just have the Raspberry Pi Zero attached to my TV with the HDMI port.
Re: Full GBZ Build Videos
PART 4 has now been posted to YouTube. In this part I go over installing the screen, as well as installation of the cartridge slot.
Thank you for continuing to check back on my build. (Link Below)

Re: Full GBZ Build Videos
I've got the EXACT same control board, and am doing a build almost exactly like yours, so I will keep a close eye on this. Thanks!
