Yeah okay, but can you use L&R ? or press ''start'' to swap between punch and kick. (that would be annoying haha) well at least i was right about the buttons, very strange isn't it ? i guess i have to find out a nice SF2 from another console ... SF2 is really my alltime favorite.. i remember myself playing it in a arcade hall back in the early 90's while smoking cigarette, and use the ashtray on the arcade cabinet lol.. really miss that time, so that's why many of us made a gb zero to have our youth in a box :D

P.s maybe adding an extra L2 and R2 would fix it, but idk where the F i hve to place them, since i already had hard feelings for these 2 L+R tactile switches like you have done also. im gonna get some soft tactile switches, i really hate that ''clicking'' omg

@144TECH Before I switched to 6 button in the Retroarch config you had to press start yes.

Now it's 6 button you don't. A, B, X, Y all work along with L + R so all kicking and punching functionality 8-)

It's definitely odd, I had a SNES growing up so not sure how they got round the 3 button issue on Megadrive? Did you used to have to press start?!

Either way this restores all functionality so all good.

As for the actual buttons themselves im considering replacing mine with bigger ones that sound nice and feel nicer. Agree the clicking is frustrating!

Absolute classic game from my childhood this :P

Yeah now that you say.. i think indeed we pressed start.. to swap between kick and punch, if you take a look at the controller you'll notice why. because start is placed pretty neat above the abc buttons, not like snes where there's much more space in between.. as you really didnt need to because of L+R https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J-dMns1UZ00   it looks odd, but if you had a sega you would understand, and it really worked out great, really ! though i never liked the snes 16 bit, i always preferred sega 16 bit idk why, lol .. i didn't like all that rounded stuff, and mario , and always red green blue yellow colors fancy clouds and lots of games the same style haha.. but there where many games like sf2 who where avaiable for both consoles, also mortal kombat and stuff like that. think i liked sonic more as for example super mario world, they are from the same period. but anyway thanks for tryin out, and now you got some sega stuff too :D

Looking good, how do you like the print ? I may get the guy printing them to touch up the cutting by hand once it has gone through the machine as I noticed on a couple of them there are small amounts of card fibres sticking out of tight corners that have been cut along

Okay man, nice protection case.
Good that you can acces Hdmi now, i've grinded a little from my 2 usb ports, so i could align the pcb 100% straight to the inside of the gb case.
So the pi doesn't sit like / anymore. I also left the original charger port intact and made a little adapter block from pin to micro usb.
I will do another build very soon, i'm thinking of posting some pics of the old one, and the new project, as i'm gonna open it up for camble switch installation i can take some pics. i'm not op happy opening it up again haha but it takes very long for that switch to arrive here for some reason. i also placed a 6000Mah power pack. to make a long story short, it works like a F'ing charm. i'll wait for your pm if you wrote that other image.

Cheers

Yeah really happy with it. Just need to clean up the original Game Boy box im putting it in and make it shine :D

Must say I didn't notice any fibres etc. Postie could have been a little kinder handling it but the insert was unaffected which is cool.

Thanks again!
