Began wiring things in. USB hub, Banggood Power supply etc.

Had some issues with the power supply seemingly not working and assumed it was dead however thanks to @rodocop I found out that the battery also needs connecting in order for this to work correctly.

All sorted now.

Build is now around 95%.

Got a bit done this weekend including:

- Adding external USB port to hub

- Testing power. Had issues initially and assumed Banggood (or copy) was dead. Turns out you need the battery to be connected for this to work correctly. Thanks to @rodocop for this info.

- Adding USB sound, amp, speaker, volume wheel.

- Writing the latest RetroPie 4.2 to SD and testing.

- Transferring ROMs, themes, splashscreen etc.

- Used red Sugru again to fill in the gaps around the micro USB charge port. Also blanked off the headphone jack as I won't use it and dont use the headphone jack on my previous build.

One of the last issues I have is the upper left screw hole.

Shaved too much of the screw well off to allow the micro USB charger port to fit nicely and nicked a bit off of the circular hole where the screw goes. It now over screws and goes through the plastic so I cannot close that side as it doesnt grip. Haven't worked out how ill fix this yet.

Any ideas anyone?

Thinking of using a long screw so it catches the 3D print screw well and the head of the screw will be wider so as it's screwed in and the case narrows pulls the case closed.

UPDATE: @144TECH has made a good suggestion so will give that a go this week. Bit of epoxy and a washer / plate over the affected damaged well should re provide the anchor point for the screw to pull down on.

May tidy up that USB a tad.

Battery fits nicely. Had to dremmel out one of the internal sides to slot it in. Much neater than sanding the whole battery enclosure.

Update: Fixed!

Thanks again to @144TECH

Used epoxy to attach a washer to the end of the damaged pipe.

Re-glued down the 3D printed screen bracket and closed up, screwed down.

Thanks @munosi

Things ive learned from this build:

1) Dont dremmel too close to screw wells that you need!

2) Epoxy is a saviour

3) Big trigger buttons are much nicer but leave the inside tight for space

4) USB audio is so much nicer and easier

5) Dont try to clip away the micro USB port on your new Pi Zero W !
