GBZ #3 Completed
GBZ #3 Completed
First, thanks to everybody on this forum for ideas and information.
- This is my third build, but this one is with kedei hdmi screen
- a,b,x,y buttons are silent soft tactile
- there is no usb hub, under battery cover is dpdt switch for switching from pro micro board for controls to usb port on the side (so i can connect external usb hub with keyboard and wifi dongle)
- on the top right is graceful shutdown button via gpio
- trigger buttons are regular tactile with red cap
- 2500mah battery
- screen was off center, so i played with overscan to get it centered
- glass screen cover
- mono amp with 2w speaker
- cartridge with status leds
- buttons are a little bit larger then original

Re: GBZ #3 Completed
Can you post some close up pics of that? That sounds really hard to do.CarNino wrote: ↑Mon Apr 17, 2017 11:36 pmIts glass cover from ali express, i stripped paint off and painted screen surrounding....onesojourner wrote: ↑Mon Apr 17, 2017 7:59 am

Its really easy, i used a razor to scrape original paint, then clean with acetone, mask with tape and painted with black nail polish paint...onesojourner wrote: ↑Tue Apr 18, 2017 7:47 amCan you post some close up pics of that?
