wooooouch !!! how many systems and how many roms for each system... ? this is very slowing down boot time, like the more (roms), the less (speed)

I think most improvements are removing the waiting for lan, disable terminal boot and disable of the retropie loading screen!

It’s a combination of all the stuff... by default linux always swap non important data so swapiness will make the boot faster, also, at boot you are loading many stuffs that needs logging, putting all this to ram directly improves boot time also...
Desactivating unneeded services like samba make system load faster, because you load less, but also because you don’t have to initialize stuffs like rom directory sharing over network...
All the settings helps...

I didn‘t implement all the sd/IO write stuff. Just overclock the sd card.
