Finished my first Circuit Sword build

Post by Pancho316 » Sun Feb 16, 2020 12:53 pm

So here it is, guys. This one took a long time, mostly because of my inability to open buttonholes on the case. This is the third case I use, and well, it turned out pretty good after I figured it out.

Also, the lock for the display ribbon cable in my Circuit Sword came damaged, so I had to replace it. You don't know how difficult it is to find 54 pin connectors just to replace one simple lock.

So here are some pictures, guys. No internal pictures just yet because I really don't want to open it again. I will get some pictures when I change the back buttons (ordered yellow buttons from Hoolyhoo, just waiting for them). I also need some stickers for the cartridge and the back, so if any of you guys know where I can get some, I'll appreciate it.

very unique color combo - good job!
Thanks! I didn't really want to make a build similar to everybody else's. I saw a post by Retromodding on Instagram showing a white front/blue back Gameboy and I loved it, so this it my take on that one.

Great look. I like everything. The translucent blue buttons are great.
