MAME can be hit or miss. There are some stock overclock settings you should apply which will help all-round performance on all mentioned emulators. Disabling WiFi and Bluetooth also has an impact. Pi zero W should play all those systems. The only thing I am unsure of is MAME, since I have never used it. Some SNES/GBA games may lag a bit, (ie. Starfox is unplayable). But most of the ones I have played have been totally fine (even without an overclock). Thank you for the reply I feel relieved😄
