Re: Not sure how to mod this screen to run in my build...
I took this picture to as the latest step I took. The chip is still soldered onto the board, and I connected my previously soldered jumper wire on pin 3 directly to the voltage in line. No action on the screen, but it works fine when 12v applied. Trying to cover all the bases before irreversibly re...

Re: BW screen an PB1000c problems
Here’s the final solution that worked for me with that one. Had to desolder the chip and run 5v to the pin 3 pad. Everything cleared up after that. I also used shielded wire from an RCA cable for signal and ground.

Re: Audio stopped working
Well, I basically rewired everything and reflashed the sd card, and it works beautifully now. Pumped to complete my first GBZ (I may add L and R buttons). Already planning #2! Thanks, rodocop for your help!

For posterity's sake, here's the final solution that worked for me (had to desolder the RZC2013S chip and run 5v directly to pin 3.

Re: Audio stopped working
Here's another bizarre little detail. I usually use a Mac, but I plugged the Pi into my PC to check something out, and the sound from the PC played through the speaker in my GBZ. Wouldn't everything have to be wired correctly for that to happen? Could this be a software/setting thing?

Re: Audio stopped working
Remove this from the config.txt dtoverlay=pwm-2chan,pin=18,func=2,pin2=13,func2=4 That is ONLY used for pwm audio. Tinkerboy uses USB so it is not necessary. Also. Let's see some nice clear pics of the D+ and D- on the pi and pcb. Do you have a multimeter? Check to see if there is continuity betwee...

Audio stopped working
This is my first GBZ, and it was working great! Now, my audio has stopped working (it was working fine), and I can't figure it out. I thought maybe one of my kids messed around with the audio settings, but I formatted the sd card and started fresh, and I still have the same problem. (I admit, I don'...

I had the same problem. For me it helped that I remove the IC which is responsible for the 5V completely and to leave the bridge in it. But I also had a little bit of a different board than you, but maybe that would be an approach that you could try? You can read it in my post: https://www.sudomod....
