Safe Shutdown script something special for kite build?

Hi kite (primarily) I'm really interested in testing out Pegasus frontend instead of EmulationStation, but doing so requires to use a different safe shutdown script, called the Multi Switch Script https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/17415/multi-switch-shutdown-script I'm no coder, but the content of...

Re: Circuit Sword 320x240 resolution "funny" scaling artifacts

Just an update: The integer scaling setting i RetroPie did no difference, but setting video smooth=true in retroarch.cfg really helped! I'm usually not a fan of smoothing, but it seems this only adds a bit of smooth when needed, meaning that games that run 320x240 will not get any smoothing. Looks m...

Re: [PRE-ORDER] Circuit Sword, Circuit Sword Lite + Circuit Gem - CLOSED

@kite, I'm currently loving the heck out of my Gameboy build from last pre-order.
How advanced is the charging-system? I mean, does it register when the battery is fully powered up, if the Circuit Sword is turned off and connected to a USB-C overnight, and turn off the charging when full?

Re: Circuit Sword 320x240 resolution "funny"

I downloaded the newest Circuit Sword Software version 1.3.2 - but is this optimized for 640x480 screens or something? One should think that these scaling artifacts shouldn't be present "out of the box", or at least some other than me would have noticed them? I noticed that Megadrive games look near...

Re: Ant's Circuit Sword STL Files (joystick, shoulder button, exhaust fan cartridge)

Had to bite off the outer part of the 3d-printed part and then it fit fine.
Board has to go on top, otherwise USB and analog volume control will be at an angle instead of parallel with the casing.

Circuit Sword 320x240 resolution "funny" scaling artifacts

Having just put together this awesome build (kite, thanks!!) I'm noticing my screen resolution looking "fuzzy"/having many scaling artifacts. It's like the screen in some situations tries to render another resolution than it should, some pixel-lines trying to be double and some not. The raspberries ...

Gen 1 kite back board works for all back brackets. Gen 2 And beyond will only work with the round buttons
Damn, just discovered that this collides with the back board with volume control...
Or am I doing something wrong?

Re: Back Buttons Kite CS lite

Sorry to invade this topic, but I've seen build videos where users of only 2 back buttons tend to use the R2 and L2 wires to solder onto L1 and R1 back button sockets - why is this?

Oh, and it seems in this build, he solders R2 and L2 wires to the R1 and L1 sockets... Why?

Question for Circuit Sword builds: L1+R1 or L2+R2?

When adding 2 back buttons to the circuit sword build (not 4), I see many soldering the back buttons to the L2 and R2 sockets instead of L1 and R1.

Any particular reason for this?
