Re: [GAUGING INTREST] 1mm glass screen protector with silkscreen border and 2mm adhesive backing

Im certainly interested. I missed out on the gorilla glass ones but will still need something pretty like this to finish my build.

Will keep my beady eyes on this thread!

Re: Using 4 rechargable Li-po AA batteries

Ive never used 17500's but if they fit, i can't see why they wouldn't work.

Lpoolm

Thats correct. Just do what i've done in my photos and it should work fine.

Re: Using 4 rechargable Li-po AA batteries

Only the ones without protection will fit in the battery bay. The ones with individual protection are too long

Re: Using 4 rechargable Li-po AA batteries

Although the sticker says 2300 mAh each, even once fully charged the powerboost starts showing low battery as soon as the pi is under load. I'm using Popcorns battery monitor script which automatically shuts down the pi. I have no problems when using a 2000 mAh pack from adafruit. It lasts a good 1....

Re: Using 4 rechargable Li-po AA batteries

Those are the same batteries i got. Don't expect wonders from them though. You get what you pay for. I only bought them to prove my setup would work. Once i'm finished ill look for some decent ones. I cut the battery terminals in half and soldered the positives and negatives in 2's. All negatives al...

Re: Using 4 rechargable Li-po AA batteries

Im pretty new to using and charging batteries in this way but i have been doing some reading. It seems to me that adafruits warning to never ever charge lithium batteries in parallel is perhaps aimed more at "the lowest common denominator". It's their disclaimer. The people who would take no precaut...

Re: Using 4 rechargable Li-po AA batteries

Haha.

They were cheap ebay jobbies just for testing. Doubt they're anywhere near that much. In fact, i can't even get them to charge past 4.050v.

Since it all seems to be working, i'm now on the lookout for some decent quality ones.

Re: Using 4 rechargable Li-po AA batteries

Here's what I've done. The first photo shows where i"m at with it at the moment. It now has a disconnect slide switch on the red + lead, after the protection circuit. It's mounted just above the battery clip between the L1 and R1 buttons and i've shortened the knob so that its flush with the surroun...
