And he continues to help !
Seriously, thank you, I'll try the bios thing
But I don't know yet if I'm willing to risk the screen cut rescue.

Liath's Gameboy Zero
Hi there, I finally took time to finish my first build. I'm so happy to have it now, and the nostalgia is satisfied whenever I play it, that's so cool. I'm also happy I could build something and actually finish it, even if I knew nothing about electronics or soldering before starting. Parts list - W...

Re: Liath's GBZ - First build questions
Yes, copied them via ssh/scp, but when I launch a game it brings me back to the games list. Should I add bios with them ?

Re: Liath's GBZ - First build questions
Ok, it worked ! Thanks a lot.
Now, I have to glue some parts together, close it (will be hard), and figure how to put games in it (I have some folders full of them but they don't work), and I'll have a fully functional Gameboy Zero !

Re: Liath's GBZ - First build questions
Ok, so that was the problem. I will be now able to configure my buttons, and I'm getting even closer to have it working properly. Some buttons are not working though (stuck at D-Pad Left :D ). I'm thinking either the buttons or the silicone contacts pads maybe ? I ordered them on aliexpress, so mayb...

Re: Liath's GBZ - First build questions
Thank you for your reply. I know I missused the plain orange wire, but I think it's correctly wired. PP23 on D- (orange) and PP22 on D+ (white/orange stripe). Re: Liath's GBZ - First build questions
Hi there, I have another problem. Unfortunately I can't quite figure where it's coming from. I wired everything but the add-on board (which is usb, volume wheel, and L1/R1), I'm pretty confident my wiring is fine, the system boots up and I get to Retropie main screen (console selection). https://i.i...

Re: New members, introduce yourself!
Hi, I feel I should introduce myself, since I already asked a question or two on this forum. My name is Sebastien, I'm 36, and I live in the suburbs, south from Paris. I work in web development, and I've been kind of a geek most of my life. I had the original Gameboy back when I was a kid, and still...
