Re: GBZ screen won't power from battery with powerboost

Don't know but I had a similar issue and either a) your lcd driver board is knackered, b) you've jumped the wrong pin on the ic on the lcd driver board, or c) you need to remove the ic and wire +5v directly to the ic pin on the lcd driver board. Easy way to trouble shoot is wire the pi directly to t...

Re: New Build - GBZ

Well after almost 2 years... it's finished! I call it my ghetto build. Had to use a Powerboost 1000c as the original chinese cheapo board couldn't provide enough power. Also the screen controller board also stopped working and had to be replaced. Key features: Black case, black/ red buttons Uses a P...

Does it degrade over time if you have it plugged into the wall? Usually the times I've had screen flicker (on other projects, not Kite's board specifically) it has been power related.
Thanks for the suggestion - I'll go and check.

Re: Power issues...

Have you checked the connections with a multimeter to check the pi and screen are getting 5V?

Failing that, have you tried another Microsd card and a different image?

Re: Screen flicker

Anyone?

I'm really stumped if no one else has experienced this before.

Screen flicker

Hi all, I've just completed a Kite Circuit Sword build with the CM3 and standard 320 x 240 screen and all went swimmingly and it booted up all fine except the screen starts to flicker whilst in Retropie. The flickering speeds up as time goes on and it doesn't do it immediately. Its starts after bein...

Emulators and Games Consoles

Hi, I've just realised after listing all the devices I own, that I'm possibly a collector (or addict?). Never been one of them before. For those with multiple devices, how big is your collection? What do you have? Here is my collection. I like unusual / modded items and always want excellent...

Re: RaspStation 1

All complete and working. Sorted out the wiring so that the push button switch within the drive bay enables the hdd to be accessed externally from a pc using the microusb. I think it was because I hadn't grounded the ID wire on the microusb panel mount socket. I added an ATXRaspi V3 on the power sid...

Re: Powering USB controller from 3.7V

I can't find the exact same pcb from a Google search however this one is close (ignore the scribbles).

Mine just doesn't have the port at the bottom of the controller.

Re: Powering USB controller from 3.7V

Nintenedo? you mean Xbox. That is the wired version and it might require 5v but to be honest not sure since the wireless one is likely running at lower voltages than 5v unless it is boosting it but I don't know unless I actually see the pcb but not worth the effort since you are using the wired mod...
