Re: Screen problems

Do you maybe need to solder a jumper cable?

Re: What games do you play?

With the recent Pokemon GO craze on mobile, it got me interested in playing the old pokemon games again, so I'm playing Pokemon Leaf Green for GBA on my GBZ.

Also played a bit of Phantasy Star for Genesis, I plan to continue that after Pokemon.

Re: Using 4 rechargable Li-po AA batteries

If using the original battery Bay, why not use NiMH batteries? They're cheaper, and maybe safer?

I don't really know the difference between lipo and NiMH.

Re: [Guide] Audio-/Headphone Jack Information Thread

Thanks a lot fleder! Two questions: 1. Does the gameboy jack diagram assume the pcb is still soldered? Since this would cause the two bottom pins to be connected at all times. Desoldering would mean all five pins are independent (i think). 2. When you say left out and right out, is this what would g...

If your hosting provider allows cron jobs, a brute force approach may be to restart the sql server like twice a day.

Re: My screen is barely readable

In /boot/config.txt you can modify this line to change the console resolution: #framebuffer_width=320 #framebuffer_height=240 Just remove the hashtags and set the resolution to what the screen outputs (most are 320*240) To get larger text on the emulation station themes you have to modify the theme...

Re: Pi Zero and PSX

Anyone know the technical reasons behind why it can't run full speed? I ran a playstation emulator on my g3 iMac back in 2000 or 2001 which was 300mhz. It was a proprietary emulator called virtual gamestation. Probably simply because linux unfortunately. :/ Couldn't be Linux, Linux is not inherentl...

Teensy key wasd configuration - why?

I was wondering why map the gameboy controller in keyboard layout to letter keys like wasd q z and so on and not use arrow keys, enter key, etc. I found that I cannot navigate the "Dos" style menus without plugging in a keyboard and I have to be careful about which menu I choose. I bet if I rewired ...

Re: PWM Audio / Config.txt File Question

You get no sound at all? You have the low pass filter installed and are connected to the correct pins?

Check all your connections, and try first without hooking up your amp, just the headphones to the filter, which then goes to the pi.
