Re: What is your first video game memory?

You guys are young pups, I can remember back in the early 70's playing lunar lander on a computer at my dad's work, had to load it from a floppy disk and playing the original pong in a bowling ally around 73. They only had pong and air hockey to play back then.

Re: All in One PCB Support Thread

Would look at the white wire on pp23, it goes to the AIO for usb control. The pad to the right of that one is very close and it is easy to solder those two together.

Re: All in One PCB Support Thread

I had to make that line of text its own line, not add it to the end. Then my audio worked fine. Hopefully that helps. You can also try just wiring up the speaker to make sure the issue is not in the jack.

Re: All in One PCB Support Thread

I feel your pain, and the new board has the same issues, saw a post were Helder said the chip he used does not play nice with the pi, asked what people wanted to do, wait for a new chip or put up with a product that does not work as it was intended. Nobody really complained so he used the same chip....

Boarder on glass

So I got a clear piece of glass and thought it was to plain. Used grey nail polish on the bottom to add my own boarder. Since it's on the back side it can not be scratched off.

Re: All in One PCB Support Thread

To test your board just hook up like this. Green to D+ and PP22 White to D- and PP23 Red to 5v and PP1 Black to GND and PP6 Plug your power cable into the pi, then program the button layout. That's all I have wired except for the volume wheel and head phone jack. You will need to hookup a micro HDMI...

Re: Audio issues

So I deleted the line of code at the end and added it to its own line. Now I have audio. Thanks for the suggestion. No wiring change.

Audio issues

I having no luck getting audio out. I have 2 builds, one is done, the second I am using for troubleshooting. They are both wired the same way. I get static in the both ears, but no sound. The Orange wire on the wheel is ground, check with a meter. The volume wheel does work, 80 ohms to about 10k. I ...

Re: [For Sale] Gorilla Glass Screen

So the store that sells the octopus glue on Amazon is 15 minutes from my house. Stopped by there today and got the glue. They had some concerns about using it for the glass. They suggested glueing the glass on first. Said if the screen is not water tight the glue could seep into the screen a ruin it...

Re: All in One PCB Support Thread

The signal wires from the pi are in the center, switch to the left sends the signal to the port, switch to the right sends signal to the aio.
