Re: I think *I* messed up my wifi.

Thanks for this, I was trying to figure out why Wifi died after I updated it too. It wouldn't work for me copying the file over. I think I'm going to reimage, restore my backed up folder and then install any kernel headers and required things before updating so I can rebuild kernel as needed.

Re: [SUPPORT] Kite's Super AIO Support Thread

@pap That's probably pretty fair, I typically wouldn't use a wire cutter, but in the pic, looked like it was pretty close to broken thru anyways. However now that I'm home looking directly at the board, you're right, proximity of C51 and C52 a bit tight, so could easily damage both if not careful. I...

Re: [SUPPORT] Kite's Super AIO Support Thread

@RhinoNigel If the cap is broken... you may find it easier to break the capacitor carefully with a sharp wire cutter/flush cutter/etc thru the middle from the top. Carefully means not damaging the board or the pads on either side. You can then remove it easily in 2 pieces with a solder iron and some...

Re: [SUPPORT] Kite's Super AIO Support Thread

@Damazeltov Thanks, I'll maybe give that a shot. Was really nervous to remove the metal at risk of damaging it. The higher resolution display in my opinion is definitely worth it.

Re: [SUPPORT] Kite's Super AIO Support Thread

FYI for those building with the 640x480 display (it looks great btw), and looking for a way to fit the LCD without messing up the case, I ended picking up some some shallow U-Gouge carving tools. Usually used for wood, but the plastic of the cases is soft enough it has no problem. I elected to keep ...

Re: [SUPPORT] Kite's Super AIO Support Thread

Did you try to press mode + A button after system has started ? By default, Kite’s image disables wifi  https://github.com/geebles/Super-AIO/wiki/Mode-Button-Shortcut-Keys I did try enabling wifi thru mode button, but didn't work, though with the wpa debugging I was doing possible I messed it...

Re: [SUPPORT] Kite's Super AIO Support Thread

Has anyone gotten onboard or USB Wifi working with SAIO 20171003-1 and a Pi Zero-w? If I load up the default RetroPie 4.3 image from their official site, wifi works fine. I've configured many Pis with Wifi, but cannot get this working on this image for the life of me. I followed the link YaYa posted...
