Re: Weird display flicker issue

Ok even weirder! So the voltage across the pins seems fine. No worries there but in testing i found that simply holding the wires was enough to make the screen stay on. I then just tried pushing on various bits with a plastic implement It is clearly some kind of dodgy connection then. I am going to ...

Are you running of battery or mains?

Mine seems to shut down instantly when on mains.

Re: Weird display flicker issue

That looks like a power problem, my screen did something similar: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/64621786/screen.webm You need to perform the 5v mod for your screen. Check the wiki for the different models and procedures for each. I have performed the 5v mod. This problem only started happenin...

I will give that a go but seems unlikely considering the screen is fine when the audio output is disabled and once the game gets going.

Re: [Pre-Order] Safe Shutdown Switch (PowerBoost Version) - Closed

I'm having a hard time getting my pi0 to connect to the internet. How did you guys get yours online and get the software downloaded? What is not working about getting the pi0 online? To do mine I actually put the SD card in my laptop and put the software on there. If you don't have a Linux PC then ...

Re: [Pre-Order] Safe Shutdown Switch (PowerBoost Version) - Closed

You may well be happy to hear that it works perfectly with the battery attached.

I spliced together an adaptor wire and now the power boost waits for the pi before shutting down.

No idea why it would not work initially but there you go!

Re: [Pre-Order] Safe Shutdown Switch (PowerBoost Version) - Closed

@spacedementia87 Some people have reported this issue when no battery is connected. It's not supposed to act this way. Try it with a battery and get back to me please. Will do. I might have to wait a while though as I have had to order some jst connectors. The battery has an xhp and the power boost...

Re: [Pre-Order] Safe Shutdown Switch (PowerBoost Version) - Closed

Hi Camble, Received my pcb and have it wired up, but I seem to have a slight problem. When I flick the switch, the pi turns off immediately. Seems power is cut with the switch. Pretty sure I have the correct command in the boot/config.txt. What could be wrong? I should probably point out that I don'...

Really? The big post at the top seems to suggest we should be cautious.

As does Samsung's ventures.
