USB 3.0 is backwards compatible with the previous versions, so you should be OK. I don't have much experience with USB 3.0, so I'll give you my best guess. OK, I'm guessing you'd like to use the original av cable for the NES, if that's the case, I don't think I can help you. Could you post a clear image of just the board you're wiring the pi into, front and back please.
