Re: Artist_block's GBZ build log *WIP*
12/17/16 I burnt the screen. Today I had much success, I was able to load roms, I could ssh into my raspberry Pi, I was even able to get audio out though a usb audio device. But I screwed up trying to make the connection to the screen more permanent by replacing the connectors with jumper wires. A w...

Re: RasPiZeroBoy build (work in progress)
Hey Zero, nice build. Using double AA batteries is a novel idea. But I'll be honest, I don't think you'll be able to a longer battery life with the 3 AA's. Also I'm not sure you could even speed up the boot up without using a simpler version of retropie or a raspberry pi 2/3. By the way, have you se...

Re: Have you seen this?! retropie with cartridges!
I would love for some one more code-savy than me to dive into the code, and break it down for the GBZ. I'll be honest with you guys, having read both the arduino and raspberry pi code (Daftmike provided http://www.daftmike.com/2016/07/NESPi.html ), his setup is overcomplicated at least for the GBZ. ...

Have you seen this?! retropie with cartridges!
This guy solved a problem that has plagued raspberry pi emulators since forever. He made a raspberry pi3 NES system that accepts 3d printed cartridges. It uses rf tags inside of the carts to launch whatever game assigned to them. This is literally the greatest idea for an emulation station, that rea...
