Re: Good luck

Well sadly it looks like I've come to the end of the journey. Today after giving up on having so much trouble with the AIO board (whoch i'm convinced should still be in beta and not ready for release) I tried using a USB hub. No image or life from the pi and then smoke coming from the usb. As much ...

Sorry to hear that.
Hope you'll be lucky. Mine was a dud and just refused to work properly after plenty of trial and error. Not worth the stress :)

Re: All in One PCB Support Thread

There is Lakka which has some nice updates and style similar to the PS3/PSP also RecallBox is another alternative. Thanks. Should i wire up the volume pot and also do the rubber button pads have to be physically touching the aio for it to be recognised? Will try Recallbox and report back :) Yes wir...

Re: All in One PCB Support Thread

I honestly have no idea why this hub chip has such issues when I have seen so many usb hub boards for the pi use the same exact chip and schematic. It must be the Retropie or something as I'm assuming people use those hubs on Raspian or some other Pi specific OS. It's ok don't worry - I didn't thin...

Re: All in One PCB Support Thread

Damn someone told me that the micro usb port on the pi won't work if something is commected to p22 and p23. Aren't there any sets of alternate drivers that can be used to improve compatibility with the hub? Seems weird that it's happy with an xbox controller but not with several different keyboard ...

Re: Helders AIO and Tactile Switches

@Treguard If like me you got a bag of about 100 switches for next to nothing it doesn't matter to waste a couple worst case. I'm actually thinking of swapping my switches out for more ergonomic ones as having played a lot of street fighter and Mario kart lately they are a pain to click in! Pl...
