Well, I found a ribbon from another project and plugged it in. Turns out that was the problem. Works just fine.

So, I checked connectivity on all the connections on the screen. The attached diagram is my quick sketch of all the connects that I was able to test. Number 9 doesn’t seem to be connected to anything. Could this be the problem? Also, number 10 has no connectivity to the corresponding tab on the PCB ...

I tried restarting several times. I might have to resolder the function button. I’m going to try that.

While waiting for my solder iron to warm up I checked connectivity from the function button to the ‘mode’ pin and got nothing. Hopefully resoldering it works.

I had my minty pi working, and the function button worked like it should to exit games. I had to open it up, to change the SD Card. No. I didn’t have any flux. I’m ordering some new speakers so hopefully my speakers are just bad. Is there an easy way to see if it’s the speaker?

Also, I keep getting this. Every time I raise the volume it goes right back to 0. I’m not sure what that means.

Ok. Part of the problem is that the BCLK wasn’t working. I got that one working fine now. The LCLK and DIN are working also. I still don’t get any sound. Attached is how I wired my speaker. How does the soldiering look? I’m gonna reassemble it and try to see if I messed up any settings.
