Re: What 3d Printer do you have?

You cant go too far wrong with an Ender 3 V2. Well priced, prints well plus has a large community/following to cover any upgrades/mods you may want to do. Software wise, Cura is very popular, personally I use PrusaSlicer. All the main big hitters will be fine and will be 95% there with the default s...

Re: [PRE-ORDER] Circuit Sword (+ Lite), Circuit Shield + Circuit Gem - CLOSED

Hardware wise it should be fine. Someone has already put a Zero2 in a Null2, I've put a zero2 in my GPi case. Hardware wise they are identical. Zero2 is loads more powerful, so well worth it. Software wise, it needs the RetroPie image designed for the Pi2 and up and currently only works on the lates...

Re: Startup Stuck on "Kiteretro' Logo

I wouldnt try to remove it, it'll be very tricky to do. Just check the connections, see if there is a bridge and use braid or desoldering gun if there is.

Re: Startup Stuck on "Kiteretro' Logo

Is it a new build? If so I'm assuming its never worked? I ordinally had a bridged connection on mine between one of the buttons and ground, it caused a lot of issuing including booting issues similar to that. Recheck the solder joints for continuity but also the surrounding pins to make sure they're...

Re: Circuit Gem battery icon

It works fine on my Gem. The battery is connected to the Gem so wouldnt expect there to be any issues with that. I assume you've fully charged? If you check the FAQ: https://github.com/kiteretro/Circuit-Gem/wiki/Circuit-Gem-FAQ looks Pin 16 monitors the battery, check for continuity with the test pa...

Re: Gameboy Null 2 Software

The Null 2 software is based on RetroPie but with some edits to allow screen, sound, keys etc to work, a stock RetroPie image wont work, there is a guide on the Null2 website on how to make your own image, I've personally tried new versions of RetroPie and to be honest, they run worse of the Pi Zero...

Re: PRS-Tech SNES-Zero PCB available?

Doesnt look like it but you can message the guy: https://www.sudomod.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=22&t=2753 I recently made a SNES Zero myself using an original SNES controller. You can get by without the PCB. This guide has pinout and Retropie setup https://howchoo.com/retropie/super-gamepad-zero-retr...

Re: ESP32 NES

The board I used was a WEMOS LOLIN32 Lite. Doesn't have an SD slot but easy to add one and there are some with them built in. I did spend ages looking for a well priced ESP32 with 16MB flash so it could take Odroid Go software but they seem quite few a far between and more expensive. I wanted someth...

SNES Zero Controller

I originally started off with a 3D printed bottom cover that easily fitted a Pi Zero but it was quite bulky and I couldnt find a well matching grey filament. I ended up using the original bottom, trimming quite a bit out and modding a full sized USB port for 2 player action if required. I probably w...

ESP32 NES

Built a few things during the most recent lockdown. I found this interesting code https://github.com/rossumur/esp_8_bit which essentially emulated a NES, SMS & Atari on a ESP32 but allowed composite video output even though the ESP32 has no video out functions except via SPI. I found the Bluetooth c...
