Re: Powerboost 500c

might be pushing it with an HDMI screen. the 500c can supply more than 500mA in fact if the battery is good for it, it will supply 1000ma (at 5V. remember 1A at 5V is more like 1.3A at the 3.7v the battery supplies to generate 1A @ 5V) see here: https://learn.adafruit.com/adafruit-powerboost-500-plu...

Re: Using a DMG GB as a joypad

Let me see if I've got this clear... you want to have a DMG cartridge that fits into an actual WORKING gameboy, that loads as a regular GB game but all it does is read button presses and relays them to a teensy or leonardo in USB controller mode which then attaches to your PC as a USB controller? we...

I have made a bit of a mistake size wise, they are too tall!
BTW. PCB files/sands easily. So if they aren't too tall you can just work the height down manually.
(With proper dust extraction though. FR4 is fibreglass so glass and resin dust isn't a great thing to breathe in...)

Re: [FOR SALE] DS-Lite GBA cartridge reader sockets and button PCB's

**IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT** I'm not currently taking orders for cartridge ports (not that it matters much since nobody seems to be doing cartridge mods anymore) as I currently have no hot air station available to me. I'm not sure how long this situation is going to last so I'm just not taking any or...

Re: GBA SP to GBA case

How would one design one's own PCB from scratch, if I may ask? well that's a whole forum and tutorial site in its own right but basically the process outline is: Design electronic schematic (either on paper or by experimenting with components and breadboard) capture electronic schematic in a electr...

Re: What features would you want on an emulation handheld

actually, I've been doing some investigation and it seems Pi3 emulates DS fairly well with various options for the orientation of the screens. but not as far as i can tell over 2 actual screens. mainly side by side etc

Re: What features would you want on an emulation handheld

not entirely sure there's enough oomph in the GPU for a usable second screen. MAYBEEEE for a second info screen, but probably not a Usable DS second screen. also I don't think DS emulation is that viable on a Pi. maybe in vertical orientation...
