Re: ROMs and Emulators. Legal?
From the Nintendo legal page: Can I Download a Nintendo ROM from the Internet if I Already Own the Authentic Game? There is a good deal of misinformation on the Internet regarding the backup/archival copy exception. It is not a "second copy" rule and is often mistakenly cited for the proposition tha...

ROMs and Emulators. Legal?
I know I'm opening up a can of worms here. But I'm just wondering if ROMs and Emulators are legal or not.

Re: What kind of projects would you like to see next?
I would like to see a build using a Sega Nomad. I have a couple of broken Nomads I would like to do something with. The Nomad should be easier to work with since it is bigger and has 6 buttons on the front already. It would be great for a Pi2 and bigger batteries for extended play. I plan on buildi...

Re: Gameboy raspberry pi cartage
Anyone found any small relays? All the ones I have found are too big to fit.

Re: Full VGA resolution (640x480) 3.5" display, composite in
The display look cool but that's a hefty price tag though. I don't think it will fit because of the connector breakout board. It looks like you might be able to wire it up directly but there are some power components on the board and they might be necessary.

Re: Gameboy raspberry pi cartage
You could route the cables through the side of the cartridge slot into the case, but i still think you will run out of space. You may squeeze the RPi0 into a Cartridge, but what about the rest? How do you intercept the button inputs that go to the GBC? How about Sound, Video and all that stuff? Int...

Re: Gameboy raspberry pi cartage
Wow, that certainly seems novel. The only thing I can probably think of is to check that the cartridge has enough pins for all of the functions (screen/buttons etc.) :) This is why I'm asking about the screen. I want to keep the original gameboy colour intact so I can use it as a gameboy colour or ...
