Re: Sony Mega Watchman Project
I may try the acrylic trick. Not sure how hard (or safe) it would be to cut of front of the CRT off.

Re: Sony Mega Watchman Project
Forgive me if you've seen this before, but this guy put a pi in a beautiful vintage portable TV with bluetooth-enabled controllers. I particularly liked his solution to the CRT glass by...making his own! http://imgur.com/a/nIBqT I like that. I really wish I could put a digital TV tuner in it to kee...

Re: Sony Mega Watchman Project
You really can't tell that the screen is curved as small as it is. I will leave the LCD tilted back like the CRT. I'll have batteries in it, but it will probably be plugged in most of the time. With 8x D batteries, I guess there is room for a fairly large battery. The system looks like it runs off 1...

The plan is to somehow remove the old black & white CRT and replace it with a color LCD. I would like to somehow keep the AM/FM rad...

Re: Arcade Project
I plugged the arcade in today and got a better picture than I have in the past. It looks like the game itself works and the CRT may just need a little tweaking. I plan on using an LCD, but I may save the CRT and have a repairman look at it. Not sure what to do with the game board. https://i.imgur.co...

Re: Arcade Project
According to this, there is a setting in Retroarch to rotate the image between the two sides. I was thinking about putting two separate systems in there, but now I will definitely be using the largest screen I can get in there.

Arcade Project
I picked up an old cocktail arcade console. It'll need some work on the exterior and a different button configuration. I'm open to all suggestions.

Re: Blank Tin Labels
as i'm going to be using a blank tin (either plain or windowed) and want to customise it, i've started to lay a few ideas down.... may just print out a label and stick to the top (still not decided).... a little something that pays homage to the altoids tin (still a work in progress, some colour to...
