I ordered these and they got the job done. feel great and they fit in the standard sized holes perfectly. way less work then messing around with the silicon buttons!

Re: Do I actually need a usb hub?
Makes a lot of sense, but what about the Teensy? If you hook it up using the USB pads on the pi, doesn't that mean that the jack will be dead when you want to put a keyboard to it? will you have to desolder the teensy every time?

Re: SidSilver's GBZ
Thanks Sidsilver!
I definitely killed it and bought a second one. Did the hack and now works great off a camera source!

Had a solder skill fail and joined two of the legs together while modding the ic.
Trying to wick it with copper, knocked off the first of the three blocks at the edge of the ic. Bare pad showing and the ic legs are all over. Am i toast? Can I salvage by pulling the ic completely?

Re: SidSilver's GBZ
Probably a stupid question, but if the legs on the circuit get soldered togeather when bypassing, is that going to prevent it from working properly? My soldering iron was NOT up to the task of getting this right, and the wire is attached to two of the legs beside each other. hoping i don't have to g...
