Re: 2nd Build (Super Famicom Controller Inspired).
Nice. That needs a nice build log down in the other projects showoff section.

Re: New BW Variant - InnoLux 5v MOD DONE
Have you tried removing the chip entirely? Most people seem to get much more stable results after doing so. I have removed the regulator chip entirely from all of my builds.

Can you provide a photo of your mod, so we can update the wiki?

Re: [WIP] Gameboy Zero Classic
Right, you can't get more than 900mA out of a rechargeable LiON at 3.7v. Other types will vary, but even with NimH, the higher mAH rating comes at a cost of much lower voltage. I'd need to do some math to see how the WH compares.

Re: [WIP] Gameboy Zero Classic
Energy density. I'm sure *someone* out there can make 14500 cells over 900ma, but are not going to find them on ebay at bargain prices. Just take a glance at reputable name companies and you will see not a single one selling models over 900. Like these Sanyo's: https://www.orbtronic.com/batteries-ch...

Re: [tinkerBOY] Game Boy Three - RPi3 and DPI screen in 24-bit mode [WIP]
fbdelux, there's a trick called FBCP (FrameBuffer CoPy) that can alleviate some of the issues with SPI, but its not simple to implement. You might want to ping Will.I.Am on Discord, as I think he is working on it for another project. Otherwise, adafruit has an article here about for her LCDs (which ...

Re: [WIP] Gameboy Zero Classic
Looks great, just one comment: There's no such thing as a 14500 above 900ma. Physically impossible, and anyone selling them is lying.
I'd love to see more details on how you did the screen dimming.

Re: WII U RASPBERRY PI 3 FINISHED
The Powerboost to my understanding does not have very robust protection circuits, you can use it as a charger & booster, but if you're connecting raw cells you should connect a protection circuit in-line/series between the cells & the power boost.

Re: PSU for GBZ?
That doesn't look like a power supply to me, just a battery charger. Meaning you'll need a separate boost converter. Stick with the adafruit powerboost or the banggood model, as they are both 'tried and tested' by many here and will be able to help you with the wiring.
