Re: Adafruit screen - no image
Apologies for the double post - I'v sorted it. I've spent this evening checking my wiring, soldering, continuity etc, everything was wired and responding perfectly to the multimeter. Concluding that, I formatted the Noobs SD card which I got with the Pi, and flashed using Wermy's tip of Etcher, usin...

Adafruit screen - no image
Hi all, This evening I've been de-soldering the Adafruit Screen power regulator, and wired up to my Pi in order to test everything out. I get power to the screen, backlight comes on, and I get AV2 shown on screen, but no image from the Pi. I've tried amending the wiring as per Felders guide http://w...

Re: Programming the Teensy
Try 1.6.5 I had problems programming several Arduinos with 1.6.8. Still no luck unfortunately. I've got a new Teensy LC arriving tomorrow, and I will give it a go once the guide is available from DirtyBullets. Unlikely to be tomorrow though as it's my birthday and I'll be having a drink or two. Tha...

Re: Programming the Teensy
I'm using 1.6.8
Im almost tempted to buy a new one, but if any UK resident would give it a go, I'd be up for sending my teensy to them for a double check? I'm not stupid by any stretch of the imagination, this just seems ridiculous.

Re: Programming the Teensy
Thats the one I've been trying.
Have tried again on an old Win XP machine tonight, still no luck. I can only assume I have a dead Teensy LC, unless anybody else has suggestions? The cable is fine as I use it regularly to transfer files to my phone.

Re: Programming the Teensy
You have to plug in the Teensy, then you should be able to choose a programmer in the same menu where you can choose your port and what kind of module you are programming. OK I've got that - any idea which one of the options I need? it's not covered in the guide. Options available are: AVR ISP AVRI...

Re: Programming the Teensy
Did you choose Teensy LC in Arduino IDE? Did you choose Keyboard + Gamepad? Which programmer did you use? What port? You just have to push the button a second or so, then wait. If it does not work, do it again. Then unplug, replug and only upload, no verify. I can say yes to the first 2 questions t...

Re: Programming the Teensy
Nothing, i'm wondering if its some curio buried in USB and Windows 10. Giving up for tonight, I didnt think the programming would be the difficult part of this build
