Fixed that, now the screen works.....But now, the pi will freeze after about 5 -10 minutes use (just sitting, not playing any games). I'll re flash again, and ...

Gpio 1 should have continuity with pin 9 on screen?
Yes.

If you want, I can send a PCB circuit.
Sure.

Just checked and there is no continuity from gpio1 to pin 9. Likely just need to add more solder for a better connection. I did not realize the screen took power from pin1

So at the 3.3v and 3v pin I am only getting around .864v on both.
Pin 1 GPIO of Raspberry 3.3V?
Gpio1 reading ~3.2v.

I did reflash and it fixed the putty issues. I will check all those points you have show and report back later today.

Re: [FOR SALE] Picicle a portable games console

Now that I look further, still no glow on the screen, but putty is strange. I can log in via winscp and transfer files over. But when I try to log in via putty it doesn't get past here. Untitled.jpg Never seen that happen, even when I try to run comands via the terminal in winscp it gives me errors ...

At boot time, does the screen first glow and then turn black?

Have you tried connecting over WiFi? By PuTTy or WinSCP. Login/password is pi/raspberry.
No glow at all. And yes, I can connect via putty.

Re: [FOR SALE] Picicle a portable games console

Okay, question...I've got it all soldered up. I have used the multimeter to check all connections. They are all good. I have a black screen. No backlight. The pi boots fine and I can see it on my network. I am using the image download from the tindie site. Any pointers on getting the screen going. I...
