Kite's SAIO (not cs) - buttons not working in-game
Hi all, I posted this in the wrong area earlier so posting in Kite's dedicated forum now. I had completed a kite SAIO with a pi3 awhile back and booted it up for the first time in awhile today... I noticed that while all the controls/buttons work fine in emulation station/retropie, once I start a ga...

Re: Wermy Inspired DMG Stand
worth a try, i'm pretty new to 3D printing so it'll take a bit before I know all the tricks. Me too! Gluestick is a sort of temporary fix but works pretty well if the curling isn't terrible. You can probably tinker with slic3r settings to help too, dial those in for a longer term fix. I use gluesti...

Re: Wermy Inspired DMG Stand
First layer lifting is the scourge of humanity. Maybe throw some gluestick down on the front just to make sure it doesn't happen again?I'll likely print a new one since the imperfections bug me a bit...![]()

Re: Wermy Inspired DMG Stand
Ohh good idea!! I bet it would be pretty easy to put a neopixel ring in the base...Nice; now you just need to put the charging port out the headphone jack and make it a charging docking station....maybe with some LEDs!

Wermy Inspired DMG Stand
Hi all! I always wanted a display stand for my pi3 gameboy, and when wermy posted his I decided it was time to get my butt in gear. So I took a few glances at his and designed something similar: https://i.imgur.com/tyew2Qh.jpg?1 https://i.imgur.com/Ohz0eu2.jpg?1 https://i.imgur.com/pWbBvWS.jpg?1 I l...

Essentially yes, and it is frustrating. I'll likely go back to the stock buttons.so theyre basically all the same as the regular gameboy start/select buttons?
That would irritate the hell out of me. Those feel like you gotta mash them to get'm to work.

Re: At long last, my 80s-themed pi3 gbz is complete
Nice one! How do you did those buttons? As Ya-ya mentioned they can be bought from kitsch-bent, but I think I may replace them soon. As oppose to most buttons which are plastic pieces pressing down on silicon(I think) base pads, these are all silicon and thus only once piece. It makes installation ...

At long last, my 80s-themed pi3 gbz is complete
It took a little over a year (with some breaks, and building 3 mintyPis as groomsmen gifts) but I finally got my gbz up and running perfect! I went with a translucent blue case and groovy buttons from kitsch-bent: https://i.imgur.com/CjmH5l4.jpg?1 It has 2 analog sticks, and I had to dremel down the...

Re: [Gauging Interest] Multi-colored faceplates for Mintypi
The worst that can occur to you now is being publicly flogged  I think I deserve at least 2 flogs :) I actually just got a response from Wermy asking not to make these commercially available, which is totally understandable. In a few days I'll make a post on the hardware section of the MintyPi...

Re: [Gauging Interest] Multi-colored faceplates for Mintypi
I'm really digging the multi colors, I really like the top one teal/red one. Thanks! I'm waiting on a response from Wermy about printing out limited quantities of these for interested parties. I'm a little embarrassed about jumping the gun and gauging interest before checking in with him first. I'l...
