You can use this kind of sound card.
I have used it in my build and worked ok.
I say worked as I had to put a new card into my build today as the old one died.
I do not know why it died but the new one I have put in is the same as the old.
Hope it will work for a long time

Hi all :-) Maybe a silly question, but I ask anyway :-) I'm building a Gameboy with a Pizero. I have a BW screen with the version 7 board. My screen works out of the box with 5V. I've seen someone mod the same board with a wire, but why if it works on 5V out of the box? Does it give a better picture...

Is it a low pass filter to pwm audio on the PiZero or is it something else ?

Im about to build a Gameboy Pizero, and im not sure if I should do USB audio or go the Gpio pwm way.
