I was working on this over the weekend and testing my buttons. Only half of them worked. Turns out I screwed up a trace when connecting all the grounds. Yes, the control board is glued on a soft mat or something. There is no contact. By the way,thank you guys for your time. Having the same issue. I have the bw screen sold by e-life and mine is setup exactly like the pictures. Same problem. Should I post pics as well? Maybe we need to mod it to run ...

I took the screen to work and checked it out. 5 Volts out. 5 Volts into the board for the screen. I tried a 9 Volt battery and no power to the screen. Board had power though. I am using a 5 volt 1 amp power supply. Should I use 2 amp or would that make a difference?

A 9Volt Battery should work right? I will see what I have at work.
