Re: [FOR SALE] microSD-to-Cartridge Breakout Boards aka 'kk_gb_zero' [WORLDWIDE]

unfortunately, i don't set the shipping costs this high. the postal service does this. since we use paypal for payments processing, we are required to do at least minimal tracking to get Seller's Protection, however, the main reason is that since the item is rigid we cannot send it the basic letter ...

Re: [FOR SALE] microSD-to-Cartridge Breakout Boards aka 'kk_gb_zero' [WORLDWIDE]

sorry for the delay! but, finally got these photographed and posted... these are the rev.C, which has the socket pointing upwards. after many requests, decoupling caps have been added. they are not required on the other boards, but are a cinch to add during assembly and won't hurt, so I put them on ...

Two guinea pigs needed to test a breakout SD cartridge!

Can I get two USA-based volunteers -- WHO HAVE THEIR SYSTEM SET UP USING THE PINOUTS FOR THE KITSCH-BENT STYLE microSD CARTRIDGE ALREADY (and working, not just in-process) -- to test a new cartridge design? PM me if interested, I think that would be best. I'll post here when the two slots are filled...

Re: [FOR SALE] expanded dmg button pcb (i2c version) [WORLDWIDE]

Ok, so I waited a few days and nothing of any significance has appeared. I find this extremely frustrating and hard to understand why a board that you made has no support. This board was made for one purpose; to work in a GB Zero, and yet there is no script or tutorial how to use it. If this board ...

the 'pcb only' is just the pcb. only that. the assembled version comes put together. the parts are soldered to it.

Re: [FOR SALE] microSD-to-Cartridge Breakout Boards aka 'kk_gb_zero' [WORLDWIDE]

my A/C unit has died and i'm busy a lot with that.... Ouch. In this heat that's definitely a priority. Up in new england it's gotten hot enough to make it hard to breathe... D: yeah.... in NC it basically turned the house into a sauna... but, its working again, and I'm now trying to get caught up t...

Re: [FOR SALE] microSD-to-Cartridge Breakout Boards aka 'kk_gb_zero' [WORLDWIDE]

any ETA on the revC with the capacitor? the caps are not required. haven't had any reports of issues with these boards. the leads are not long enough, but since there have been so many requests, i did a board with caps... and, they arrived a couple days ago. unfortunately, my time is a bit short to...

Re: DMG I2C PCB Help

Excuse me, but i am hijacking this thread. Can someone please explain to me the differences of this method? What are the pros and cons of using I2C instead of the usual way? Is this saving pins or only wires? You would still need a Teensy/Arduino, i guess. its saving a lot of pins/wires. instead of...

Re: [FOR SALE] expanded dmg button pcb (i2c version) [WORLDWIDE]

unfortunately for me, this is just how ignorant i am in this area. i have made it this far because wermy was nice enough to hold our hands step by step to this point, i'm just kind of forced in this direction because i didn't have an old gameboy to use for parts, i bought a repro case and been buil...
