Re: USB hubs and controls not working

More pictures. It's also worth mentioning that I used the exact wiring guide that you posted up. 20161216_013202.jpg 20161216_013244.jpg 20161216_013303.jpg 20161216_013309.jpg 20161216_013347_001.jpg 20161216_013357.jpg 20161216_013455.jpg 20161216_013456.jpg 20161216_013531.jpg 20161216_013532.jpg

Re: USB hubs and controls not working

If you wiggle it and it shuts off you have a short or loose/cold solder joint. Post pictures and plenty of them because people will post 1 picture and expect us to help fix the problem when it's often in other parts of the wiring. Here are some pictures. I've tried re soldering some stuff but still...

Re: USB hubs and controls not working

i'm sorry you have troubles with your build. hope you get it worked out. but I'm way more sorry that both the forum search and google apparently don't exist anymore. It exists, and i checked both. Found Helder's support thread, went through every step. Got the the controls to be recognized, froze h...

Also the main controls didn't work either, how am i supposed to get those up and running? I am using Helders new AIO...

Re: Problem with SD cartridge mod using prerunnerseth's PCB

Update! I shortend my wires from the cartridge reader to my Pi.... And it worked! Tested about 10 times already and it still works. I cut down my wires to about 4 inches each. It might be a little bit of a hassle when I close up everything and have to solder the wires to the Pi again but the Pi lit...

Re: Problem with SD cartridge mod using prerunnerseth's PCB

I've been having the exact same problem as well.

Been trouble shooting for hours!

I get nothing but 4 blinking lights on my Pi.

I'm going to try to do what you suggested and I'm actually gonna try to shorten the wires themselves.

Who knows, it might work.

I'll post here with any updates.

Re: BW Screen full screen??

A picture would help describe what you are looking to get rid of beyond the overscan. The # symbol is a comment within the script. Anything that follows the # is ignored by the system so if you want to set the frame buffer, remove the hashtags. As for the font size, Robots86 did a wonderful write u...

Re: BW Screen full screen??

The setting you are looking for is called overscan. You can change it in the raspi-config or use the following method. SSH into your Pi sudo nano /boot/config.txt Find the line #disable_overscan=1 Change it to disable_overscan=1 Some of the text may be cut off after this. But it's not bad. If you w...

BW Screen full screen??

So I might already know the answer to this question but, Is it possible to get the picture on the BW screen all the way to the edges? By the edges i mean, all the way to the silver part around the screen? I do realize that there is already a sort of black border around the screen where the "pixels" ...
