Re: Issues with my kite’s Circuit Sword Lite build - select button misfire

I tried to see if I could solder it this weekend. I tried a little but it seemed to be a failure. I don’t think i have a fine tipped enough soldering iron or solder. I’m pretty sure i would solder the whole resistor together if I did tried any further. Sorry. Let me know how to proceed.

Re: Issues with my kite’s Circuit Sword Lite build - select button misfire

I checked for stray solder on the select pad. Nothing. I checked the pin you mentioned, I can’t see anything. I included pics. I was unsure how to check the resistance. (I have a multi meter but am not well versed with it). Also, not sure if it is related or not. But the speaker doesn’t seem to work...

Issues with my kite’s Circuit Sword Lite build - select button misfire

Hey guys. Hope you can help me. I mostly finished my Kite’s Circuit Sword Lite a week ago. But I have been having an issue. The select button is acting like it is always pressed. The button itself is an original gameboy select/start button. It moved down when I press it (just like a normal gameboy)....

Cold Heat Soldering Iron

Has anyone tried the Cold Heat Soldering Iron? I was considering buying one as I have burned myself a few times and am in need of a new soldering iron to complete my GameBoy Zero project. It looks interesting. Thought it might be a good one.

Re: NESPI Help - Power Issues

I checked the voltage at the end of the micro usb cable. Still getting 5.15v. Then I checked on the Micro USB Power terminal on the Rasp Pi. It was reading 4.96v. At the same time, I rechecked the terminals where you check it on the rasp pi at it read 3.1v. It was actually up from yesterday (I have ...

NESPI Help - Power Issues

I'm hoping someone can help me. I have built a NESPI using my childhood Nintendo and a Raspberry Pi 2. I have a Shutdown Circuit from Mausberry wired in as well as a 7 port usb hub. My issue is with power. I often get the rainbow square in the corner of my screen. I am not sure what is wrong. I am n...
