Re: [PREORDER] Custom GBZ lipo battery pack

I got a shipment notification from you about 5 weeks ago in the US. I still do not have my batteries. Have they been sent? Have they been returned? What is the deal?

Thanks,

Re: [PREORDER] Custom GBZ lipo battery pack

Dex,

I ordered 3 batts from you. I reside in the US. I knew that there would be a wait. Can you deliver the batts, or can you not?

Thanks,

Re: [SUPPORT] Kite's Super AIO Support Thread

Kite,

Thanks for the hard work!

If Soldering Service was purchased are any steps necessary in chapter 5.5 of your guide? (Pages 25-30)
Any other steps that can be skipped?

Thanks!

Re: [Pre-Order] Kite's SUPER AIO - OPEN

Ah so the PI sits flush to the AIO board. If you have it pressed down all the way, the solder can't "leak" on the underside.

Interested to see what you have going on with the USB ports. Looking forward to the guide. Attempting my first build with Helder's AIO 2.2 now.

Thanks!

Re: [Pre-Order] Kite's SUPER AIO - OPEN

To attach the Pi, you just apply Solder through the holes on the Pi and let it flow down to the pad on the AIO board? How do you know that the Solder didn't overflow into a neighboring pad?

Thanks,

Re: Soldering wires through hole

I need any basic tips that you can offer. I am learning to solder solely for this project. I got a couple of perf boards and prototyping boards to learn on, before I work on boards that I spent real money on. My first 3 solder joints, I thought were FREAKING PERFECT! Nice shiny, cone shape, not intr...

Re: Soldering wires through hole

I am practicing Soldering Techniques right now because I do not currently have that skill but, I wish to learn it. I know that there is a price to pay. I have gotten a few prototyping boards and some perf board to practice/learn with. I also got some some wire from USB cables and from Radio Shack (2...

Re: Soldering wires through hole

Ah, I see it now.

He basically cheated by filling the hole with an appropriate amount of solder and then reheating it later.

Are there any concerns with doing it that way? Is it a bad practice?
