Re: Wire gauge for power
Wire ampacity chart
For power wires, use 24 gauge wire or larger. 24 gauge is rated for 2.1A.
Signal wire can be much smaller.

Whoa... redo your you 5V mod. The wire that you added is all frayed out on one side by the connector. No telling what contacts that is sending 5V to.
Also, looks like some solder has fallen on the connector pins that the screen's ribbon cable connects to. Some pins now look bridged together.

Re: cowdog360's 1st GBZ with Kite SAIO
Awesome looking build! Overall, I LOVE this thing... I've played it on the plane a few times and taken it to work with lots of props. I need a gameboy case for this guy! I fly a lot but am afraid to bring mine through security/TSA. Have you had any trouble with it going through airport security? .

What MAME romset are you using?
I'm having a little trouble with my MAME setup. Some games boot while others don't. I think some of my romsets are being ran on some incompatible emulators. Note: I'm using Kite's v1 board with a pi zero. (There is no issue with Kite's board. It's awesome. Just stating my GBZ specs) My Question: Tho...

Re: Custom Orange-Pi Portable
Just thinking about the positioning of the left joystick and D-pad. What systems do you plan on playing mostly? Most retrogames only support the D-pad. Even for the PS1, there are just a few games that use the joysticks. I would put what you think would be used more in the top circular area of the l...

Re: [PREORDER] Custom GBZ lipo battery pack
I chicken out bringing my GBZ every time I fly.... I don't want it to get taken.
