Regarding flights, do you have any experience with taking a self builded device into the plane? I was afraid that I may have to throw away my GBZ if they do not allow to take it to the plane.

@ HoolyHoo, can you create inserts for the button wells to print with the bracket with a small hole in the center to mark where to drill? This will make it easier, as the center from the Kite SAIO does not line up with the bracket for everybody.

How did you solder your LED's? If you soldered through the top (the side with Kites logo) and not the bottom or through hole then there should be no modification necessary to bracket.
