Won't this be backfeeding? Or is the 5V line directly connected to the 5V pad?moosepr wrote:the 2 5v pins on the GPIO are easy to solder to, and work fine

Re: Custom GBZ lipo battery pack
I paid for 2 batteries! Thanks so much! One question - so there will be no refunds if any issues? And shipping wise - you saying it would be better to get priority for $3 more? I don't care how long it takes tbh. As long as it comes. If something goes wrong and parcel returns to me I can resend it ...

The little square to the right of the pad is the 5v trace - scratch it and solder to it. It will work - because I did it as well accidentally haha!

PWM Audio creating sounds while the Pi is doing something.
Hey guys I just made my audio filter circuit, it works fine but the output is creating weird static sounds - I assume it is either because I used the wrong value Monolithic cap or my ground is attached to close to the pi?
Any help?

Re: JujuPi Build - Pi 3 version (IN PROGRESS)
Looks like I broke my Pi 3 by desoldering the ports using a professional Hakko solder sucker... It was working for a while and then I think the LAN IC chip which provides data to the USB and Network ports died due to shorting. Even though I checked it and gave it a wipe with alcohol. It goes to show...

################### UPDATE 2 ################### Hey guys, It has been a busy year. So far I have done the following to my GBZ. I am showing what it would look like if a novice wanted to put a Pi 3 into a case and run it off a portable power bank! I am still thinking of fitting a battery but there i...

Re: Digital Multimeter
Since you are a nooby do not spend to much on a multimeter. When you learn a bit more about electronics then do what you want. Here is one I recommend for you: UNI-T UT19C https://www.aliexpress.com/item/UNI-T-UT139C-True-RMS-2-6-LCD-Digital-Multimeter-Electrical-Handheld-Tester-Multimetro-LCR-Meter...

Looks like a custom board. I'm more interested in the screen he's used - looks like it was this: https://world.taobao.com/item/541924387563.htm?spm=a312a.7700714.0.0.BhLrf7#detail - turns out ordering one cost less than £15 so I've placed an order, will see if its any good. I have that kedei screen...
