I don't know how advanced your are in the field, but you might recycle your powerboost, battery and pi here. Of course that is not as satisfying as the GBZ, but you would still get something from ...

10k vs 50k Ohm volume wheel
Hi, Just realized I bought a 50k Ohm volume wheel instead of 10k ( https://www.amazon.de/5Pcs-B503-5-Pin-Dual-Dial-Rad-Duplex-Potentiometer/dp/B01EZZF1VI/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1484289005&sr=8-1&keywords=5pcs+B503+50K+Ohm+5-Pin+Dual-Dial-Rad+Duplex+Potentiometer+16+x+2mm ). Re: Simple project. The CONSOLLER!
So, the idea is to just plug this in any screen and start playing?
I am assuming there was a pre-existing PCB in there for all the buttons on the controller, you just wired them to the RPZ? If so, did you have to reprogram anything?
If I understood this right, I like the idea very much.

Re: [Pre-Order] Game Pie Advance DIY Kit v2
Very cool. Looking forward reading the newest updates. I hesitated buying the pre-order kit for the GPA, it looks very easy to assemble, but I need more info to get started. Your Youtube video and the forum you linked will certainly provide what I need!

Is anyone currently building the GamePie Advance using this Kit? I would love to hear some feedback on the building part.
