You don't have to unsolder the white one. Its just a second input for the screen.

I have a board with the AMS1117 chip as well. Sorry. Red wire is directly on the board. Then to pin 3 on the AMS1117 chip. Also dont mind the shoddy soldering. I have to get a new tip.
