I've been running an Anker 3100mah note 2 battery for a few months now with no issues. I've even left it charging over night without issues. As for the soldering, just prep the battery pad with solder 1st then tin the wire and should not need too much heat/time to attach the 2 together.

Solution found! Thanks @Helder. :D Issue: Extremely choppy and quiet audio through speaker. Solution: Added resistors as suggested by Helder which, instantly increased the volume and reduced the choppiness to a very playable level. Finally got my sound working at reasonable volume. Volume wheel barely does anything but it works. I have to set the software volume to 50 any higher and the sound starts breaking. I am using Helders newest all in one board and the same pot as you too, I get a small amount of static from the speaker, which is not noticeable when playing games, but when I put headphones in it is crazy loud with static and basically unusable. The Helder AIO board has a built in filter and soundcard which is what I'm using.. I have etxra pots too maybe I'll try another one.

I have everything wired and working. The sound is the only issue. I can hear the sound coming out the speaker but its really low volume.
