Re: [Pre-Order] Safe Shutdown Switch (BangGood Edition) - Closed
@Tomarse It should shutdown and power off when you slide the power switch to OFF. OK, clearly I have got something wrong somewhere! Mine just hard powers off when I move the switch to off. I'm getting a kernel panic when i shutdown from the emulationstation GUI. Any idea what I've got wrong? I've d...

@Tomarse I'm unable to replicate that problem. Are you getting it consistently? I have just tried it again and it seems to run without error now and I have just added it into cron I think that at the time when i first tried it my battery was very very low as shortly after that it started cutting ou...

@Camble I have updated the script, but when I run it to test it it doesn't work. Emulation station becomes unresponsive and then the script seems to crash with: pi@retropie:~ $ python ~/GBZ-Power-Monitor_BG/gbz_power_monitor.py Traceback (most recent call last): File "/home/pi/GBZ-Power-Monitor_BG/g...

@Tomarse Measure the voltage at pin 2 of the LM393 chip while the Gameboy is on. https://github.com/Camble/GBZ-Power-Monitor_BG Please download the latest version. I've removed the automatic shutdown for now. I'm currently working on a complete replacement which will warn a few times before decidin...

Re: Is my lcd broke?noobie killjoy!
First - disconnect one of the AV cables from the TV connector. I used AV2 by accident rather than AV1 but my BW screen doesnt seem to care and selects AV2 for me. Secondly - Do you have a valid image on the SD card in the PI? I had mocked mine up and had just put a random SD card in the slot as a pl...

Re: [Pre-Order] Safe Shutdown Switch (BangGood Edition) - Closed
@paddy @rodocop Are you able to measure the voltage at pin2 of the LM393 chip? You can use the inner contacts of R1 or R2 if it's easier. A close picture of the board would also be helpful (the side with the components). I should also point out that this is mostly down to the way the power monitor ...
