Cut the PiZero pcb around the GPIO pins. remove remaining piece of PCB. install new PiZero $10. :geek:

Guess what, the little red board from the Minty-Pi (rodocop's) works too, in combination with camble's safe-shutdown. Only thing you could have is popping up a low battery warning of two scripts, now that's not the worst because your battery is physically almost down at that point. but in the update...

Just so that there's no confusion.... This method requires no USB connection.... If your using a Pi3 that might not be an issue, but most will use a Pi Zero and the least USB the better (IMHO) . What about a I2C / Gpio expander for DPI aswell, (i wanted it too for pi2vga in combination with a safeshutdown)

Would be nice if the power plug in the battery icon only appeared when you stick the charger in..
And in normal mode just decreasing in green bars, or yellow and red additionally.
