Re: Retropie on the Circuit Sword Lite ?

How are your installing it on to your SD card.... Are you just draging and dropping the file.... Or Are you using a software to install and expand the .img (After you’ve extracted it from the zip) follow these instructions.... (there is NO need to download anything from the RETROPIE site, just use t...

Re: Powering the screen

Do I just need to buy a power boost 1000c? i would not buy a Power Boost...... and instead go for Helder Retro PSU.... https://heldergametech.com/shop/gameboy-zero/retropsu/ the only advantage I see with the Power Boost is that you can pair one of Cambles Safe Shutdown boards to it (for a safe S/D)...

Re: Powering a Otg hub

Is there a cheaper alternative to helder's psu. Thanks you can definitely get a cheaper alternative to Helder PSU and they'll work just as well (within reason) if your on a budget or just dont fancy spending $20 on a PSU.... then these are some alternatives... https://www.aliexpress.com/item/328854...

Re: Which Gameboy Case Should I Buy for Circuit Sword Pi Build?

Wondering if I could use a Gameboy Pocket instead of the DMG 1 case for this build.? Noob here  if you think you can fit a PCB that's been designed to the dimensions of a Game Boy DMG into a Game Boy Pocket which happens to be a fair bit smaller.... then go ahead..... it doesn't matter if your...

Re: Powering a Otg hub

your best option is to power the hub separately (just have the D+ and D- going to the RPi)..... especially with what you have planned.... I would also seriously consider your power supply options...... as once you also add a RPi and a screen (depending on which screen) to your setup... I can see tha...

Re: Veteran's 1st GBZ (No Hot Glue) Completed

I was wondering if i could just hook up data pins to the pi and power to my main power strip board? Would this work of would it screw up the pi, since it is sharing not ground with the hub. I cant really comment without actually seeing which board you have..... if you open a post in this section......

Re: Really easy battery system ?

As something/product to use... It will work fine.... The reason you haven’t seen it in any projects/ build.... (I think it has been discussed before) Is because of the size... Space is very limited in most of the project/builds people do on here... Managing the placement of a RPi can be challenging,...

Re: Powering the screen

this picture/image/photo doesnt really help much..... (you asked/queried about a screen, and shown just a RPi and a power-boost) has the screen been wired/connected to the RPi (cant tell from what you've posted) ..... the screen needs the AV connection to be wired/connected properly to the RPi.... a...
